In this section, you can set the product cost and payment options, configure the refund settings, etc.
First, you should decide whether the product price is the net amount or gross amount:
If it’s a net price, then the applicable VAT rate will be added to it, and the total sum during checkout will be higher.
If it’s a gross price, then the applicable VAT charge is already included in this sum and, thus, will be deducted from it.
Gross price = Net price + VAT
Settings for the multiple product units purchase
By default, one customer can purchase only one product item per order. CopeCart provides you with a possibility to allow your buyers to buy a few units of the same product in one order:
For example, in this case, one customer can order five product items at once, instead of having to perform five identical orders.
Trial period settings
There exists a possibility to enable a test period for a product. By default, this option is disabled.
When you enable the trial period, your customers receive access to the product and use it for free for as long as the test period lasts (up to 30 calendar days).
The customer pays for the product only after the trial period has ended.
Payment plan and payment interval settings
There are three payment plans at CopeCart:
- One-time payment. A customer pays the whole sum at once.
- Subscription, when a customer pays regular amounts according to the schedule (daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly, etc.)
- Installment payments with product price split into several payments.
You can configure either one payment plan for the selected product or set all the payment plans so your buyers could choose the one that is the most suitable for them:
How to add/remove a payment method
You can select a payment method that your customers will use during checkout when purchasing a product. You can enable all the payment methods so your buyers can choose the one that is the most suitable for them.
Please pay attention that the credit card payment method automatically activates the Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Microsoft Pay options:
Also, you can disable some payment method(s) that you don’t want your customers to use:
IMPORTANT! For security reasons, SEPA is available for the validated users only.
Vendors who have not completed the User Validation procedure (KYC) cannot set SEPA as a payment method available for their customers.
Attention! When setting a product price, please note that there exists a SEPA limit at CopeCart. If a product costs more than €500, the payment with SEPA is not possible:
To change the SEPA limit for your product, please contact CopeCart Support in the chatbox on the bottom right.
Refunds & Returns
You can configure the refunding possibility or make it unavailable for your customers in the Refund settings:
When you select the No refund possible setting, your buyers automatically waive their right of withdrawal when they purchase a product:
To purchase a product with no refund possibility, a customer should check a checkbox during checkout:
